More Pictures to Share - Legal Jousting (IRE)

Postby K~2 » Mon Jun 30, 2008 12:09 pm

My good friend from college came for a visit a couple weeks ago and took some quick pictures of my stallion Legal Jousting (IRE).

The day wasn't particularly ideal for picture taking, but she managed to get a few nice ones. I thought I would share.

He was particularly happy about being outside as that paddock usually houses our mares and foals. It was very challenging keeping him moving because he wanted to stop every five feet and smell poop!

Yes we got some mares this year.

Beautiful pictures. I am not sure how you got that picture to work as a link to the album, but very effective. Thanks for sharing with us, and good luck with him.

I've been following Mad About You quite closely! She's out of LJ's half-sister, and is also by Indian Ridge. She's a classy filly that's doing really well!

He's a pretty boy! Nowadays, most people like bling, but I'm a sucker for solid bays with modest facial markings -- especially if they have black-rimmed ears! :)

K~2 - Thanks for the new photos. He's certainly matured and he looks every part an Indian Ridge son! Glad to hear he's getting some mares. What's the status on his first crop - Can you tell us if any are in training, showing promise and the wings to race this year?

The filly I sold just had her first work last week at Woodbine (she's still unfortunately unnamed). My friend has a gelding at the training centre and they are looking at a start in November if all goes well.

I haven't heard how the others are doing.

Didn't get a chance to take conformation shots. We were trying to take pictures between raindrops. :D
