Have you heard of 'Just A Pie'?

Postby trcampidilli » Thu Jan 20, 2005 8:35 pm

I found him on http://www.ebarrelracing.com/stallions/justapie.html

Wow he looks like he could FLY! Are any of his babies doing anything? Anyone have an opinion they would like to share? I have never had a Pie In The Sky horse, what are they like?

Thanks for looking

My dad owned a Pie in the Sky stallion named Pass the Pie and he was super docile as were his foals. My dad also sold Pie in the Sky's dam Miss Jelly Roll and his full brother Jelly Jet. Jelly Jet was also pretty easy to get along with if I remember.

Wow thanks for the info!! Do you remember what Miss Jelly Roll was like? I know the mare can have allot to do with a colt's disposition. Did Miss Jelly Roll produce any other good performance horses like Pie in the Sky? Did you know anything about Jet Traffic, on the bottom?

Thanks again :D

Miss Jelly Roll was not at the farm for long and I don't remember her as I was like 4 or 5 at the time. She was very cold blooded. Jet Traffic is also by Easy Jet. All of the Easy Jet stallions I have been around (3) have been pretty easy to get along with. I actually really like this stallions pedigree as he has a lot of older bloodlines that have gone out of fashion for one reason or another (Tiny Charger, Lady Bugs Moon).
