Says it's Invited Guest.
Age is off, though.

Invited Guest is a 22 year old T.B. mare. She is a beautiful chestnut. Guest is an ex-race horse who has made over $600,000.00 in races. I have used her just as a brood mare but as you can see she is rideable, even bare back. However, the economy forces me into a herd reduction. Guest would make a nice companion horse, she is a real sweet heart.

Please call Nancy at (707) 886-5175 from 9am to 9pm with any questions or to see Guest

As a free mare she's overpriced.

25 years old, no live foals in '06, '07, '08, or '09.

Not a good producer of runners even when she WAS young and breeding sound.

These people should be ashamed, especially putting somebody on her back and saying "See. She can be a riding horse." (even though she's been a broodmare only for almost the last 20 years.

Looks like she sold for $11,000 at Keeneland November 2002 (when she was eightteen) in foal to Real Quiet and was taken to California.

The reason 18 year old mares like this sell cheap is because people know darn well what you're faced with. You're going to get one or two foals out of them and then you're going to be taking care of them for the rest of their life (if you're a decent person). That's why most people like me don't buy 18 year old mares.

But here these people are buying a mare like this and then trying to unload her once she's worthless. They should have thought about this stage before they bought her. And did they really think that after having foals by stallions such as Mr. Prospector, Pleasant Colony, Forty Niner, and Seeking The Gold earlier in her career and not getting much that they were suddenly going to get top runners out of her by breeding her to sires in California?

She seems like a good candidate for Our Mims given her top race record (two G.3 wins in the US, three G.1 placings in the US, G.2 and G.3 winner in England, G.3 winner in France).

I'm sure Our Mims is probably busting at the seams full but maybe they'd be worth contacting if anyone knows how to contact them and maybe (doubtful) these losers advertising her on Craigs List would pony up the shipping cost.
