Hello I am a new gal

Postby BitOfSunshine » Sat Jan 22, 2005 9:13 pm

Hi I am new here to your forum. Seems like a good place for a TON of info!! lol.

Seems as though it is mainly info on thoroughbreds but since I am at my wits end...I have to ask! lol I am specifically looking for the new 2nd edition revised book by the name of "The Complete Appaloosa Horse". There was an older version, but the author has redone it. The author's name is Jan Haddle Davis, or I have also seen Jan Davis. I have absolutely driven myself crazy looking for this book ;) All I have is dead ends. But I digress....lol.

Just wanted to say I have a love for all horses, however I myself have a foundation leopard appaloosa mare. She carries the lines of High Hand, Hands Up, Buttons B, and by golly she even goes back to Man O' War!

Anyhow if anyone could be of any help I sure would appreciate it!! Hope to chat with you all soon!!

Oh Thanks so much yukidragon....Unfortunately that was the older version. Although it was helpful to find out I would be able to rent that one from a library up here. 8)

Pat is usually to be found on the All-Breed database's message board (you can get there from the main page, just look under 'links'). She's a wealth of knowledge, and will probably be glad to help you if she's around. :D

BitOfSunshine, thanks for dropping by :) . Come again some time when you want general horse information, not confined to appaloosas.

Welcome BitOfSunshine!

Lucy, thanks for explaining where the All-Breed message board is. I had heard people talk about it but never knew how to get there. :)
