Yes, Im a proud military brat. My father was an Air Force pilot (F-105, over 100 missions in Vietnam). This hit a nerve with me. The response from the base commander was perfect.

Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by civilization

That will certainly put the complainer in his place. Love the last two sentences.

I hope the person complaining reads that response and writes an apology.

Too many people in this country forget just how they got their freedom and how many in our armed forces gave their lives for those freedoms.

I`m proud to be a Military mom. My son just finished his service in the US Navy and my daughter is an officer in the USN and will be deploying to Afghanistan in July,
