Does anyone have the link for the Indiana Bred rules -
entering the state, etc.?
Indiana Bred

It'll take less time to answer your question than to find the link. Roguelet is probably more qualified than I am, but here goes.
For a foal to be an Indiana BRED the mare can either (1) enter the state by November 1st of the year bred and remain until she has foaled, or (2) remain in the state at least 30 days after foaling and be bred to a registered Indiana stallion.
For a foal to be an Indiana SIRED, the mare must be bred to a registered Indiana stallion and then meet the other requirements also.
There are races for Indiana BREDS, but also now there are races for Indiana SIRED/BRED.

Two ways to get it:
1) mare enters state by 11/1 and foals in IN.
2) mare foals in IN, stays at least 30 days & is inspected, and is bred to IN stallion
I get my foals IN bred via #2
