Wish us luck today! A 250,000 stake

Postby BlazingColours » Sun Oct 18, 2009 4:46 am

I am heading to Woodbine to watch one of our horses run. Was just there on Friday and our mare Chrome Cruiser got 5th in an allowance race. Well today is the big day. A colt names Powermouse in the Cup and Saucer Stake for $250,000. Going early with family and friends to make a fun day of the event...

You can scroll down here to the 8th race to see all the entries. http://www.equibase.com/static/entry/WO ... N-EQB.html

Wish us luck!!!

Yes, a big day... thanks :D Now to finish off the horses here so I can have the afternoon off. And the weather looks fabulous for a day at the races.

Thanks so much...

He did not win (6th some nice horses in the race and congrats to the winner!!) but we did have a a very nice time! There was great friends and family with good food and very nice conversation and lots of laughs and some peole in our crew did okay at the betting game :) Just what it is all about. Could not have asked for a better day; well a win would have made it better ;) but you know what I mean. Now to look forward to the next race; which will 99% be back on the poly for Powermouse. This was his first Turf start.

Better luck for us next time...

You live to fight another day. Still plenty of racing ahead, and what an honor just to be there! Congrats again.

BlazingColours,

Did you know that Bloodhorse's Maidenwatch blog has been writing about your horse? They like his name. You might want to post your future plans for him on the blog. And how did you get that name?
