We are quite happy today with the announcement that there will be live racing at Fort Erie for the 2010, 11 and 12 seasons! You can read the story here:

sure hope they make drastic changes in management(race sec and more)

Present management is to stay 'til the end of June to facilitate the transistion of ownership, and then THEY ARE GONE!

Whew. Merry Christmas! I am so glad that it didn't come down to the last minute like last year. I can't imagine how stressful that was for those who race there.

That is great news indeed!!! The present management must be replaced and very quickly. The sooner the better. They have no clue on how to market a race track. They have inflicted so much damage to this border oval that it will take some time for the new management to correct and get this track moving forward once again. In the immortal words of Frank Costanza... Fort Erie management.. "you couldn't smooth a silk sheet if you had a hot date with a babe.. I lost my train of thought."
