Silent Witness
In both the Throughbred Times and The Bloodhorse there are articles regarding Silent Witness 15th win in a row, and then go on to say that he is about to equal Citation's and Cigar's modern record of 16 wins in a row. They are forgetting that Ribot was undefeated in 16 races, and he raced several years after Citation.

I watched him racing in the race track today and I'm 100% sure you can get even more from him if any horse can push him a bit more.
Here's Silent Witness' 16th win

Hi,
In Breeding terms would it be right to use, 'Silent Witness is a great, great, great grandson of Italian champion Ribot who retired undefeated after his second win in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in 1956.' or '......matching a record of his ancestor Ribot, set half a century ago in Europe.'

There isn't much need to pimp his bloodlines anyway.
He's a Gelding so it doesn't matter much.
