nyra's plans for saratoga's facelift
no one loves the grand place more than me...that being said...dont you think they should wait til they get real cash in hand from the slots and not "estimate's" before they go spending money
..i mean the economy is in the crapper for crying out loud....any thoughts...

I have not been to Saratoga in many years...whether or not they do a facelift depends on the present state of the track. If things are getting run down, the way to keep people coming there is to make sure things aren't shabby. A little paint and cleanup can go a long way.
May 2013: Plan ahead now for the Phalaris/Teddy Centennial!

couldnt agree with you more ...paint and a NEW ROOF..absolutely ! but the rest of the plans should wait for REAL DOLLARS....have we not learned yet to not spend money we dont have ??
...but again paint ...no problem ..roof...no problem...fix up back stretch...no problem....the rest of the grandiose plans should wait.
...hell ive gone every year for the last 33...and the grand place NEEDS PAINT AND A ROOF...and the backside needs fixing up....but the rest of the plans....i would take a wait and see approach
