Weekend Storm

Postby Mahubah » Sun Nov 06, 2011 11:10 am

I notice that Weekend Storm, dam of Court Vision, had no produce in 2010 or 2011. Anyone know whether she was bred in 2011 and, if so, to what sire? Smart Strike wouldn't have been a bad choice, given that he sired G3 winner Smart Surprise from her.

Well that would certainly explain the lack of produce. Thanks.

She is buried at Lanes End in the same area as her son Summer Squall.

Weekend Storm is a full sister to Summer Squall, not his dam.

Anybody know what happened to Weekend Storm's last foal (2009)? He sold for $330K at the 2010 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select Sale to IEAH, but has yet to be named, according to Equibase.

Thanks Springboro. Sounds like something happened to him after the name was submitted and they never paid the fee. Too bad, he was a nice looking yearling.
