Can someone recommend a layup farm in KY for my mare & f

Postby wgc517 » Wed Mar 14, 2012 6:26 am

Looking for a good place to keep my mare while being bred in Ky. She will have a foal by her side. Must be honest and take good care of the horses in their care. Please pm me.

thanks

I recommend you check with Crystal or Madelyn on this board.

I really appreciate everyone who responded. I am just gathering contacts now so that I am ready when the time comes. I will look into each of these.
thanks again

I sent a nice mare to Hidden Brook Farm last year for breeding. Sergio is the farm manager and he is extremely responsive. I don't have the number handy but it's easy to find with a web search.
Good luck.

I have had good luck with Grimes Mill Farm, Alex Martin is the owner and does a really good job with mares.
