L'Arc broadcast in US?

Postby chiggins6 » Sun Oct 03, 2004 9:40 am

I'd love to watch this race - trying to find out when its running and if it is broadcast in the US? I only have multiple Cable channels, no special sattelite or anything? (All the google websites discussing it are in french, so when it is broadcast, or run, I am not finding out...)

The telecast was on TVG, starting at 10 am eastern. Great fun.

Did you see they replayed the Arc during the ESPN telecast last night?

No, I didn't see that rebroadcast, either. I guess that's because I don't watch ESPN, or any sports, unless there is a specific broadcast I want to tune in to. For example show jumping or racing. Tennis, rarely, golf, only with my golfing friends. OK, so I'm not much of a sports fan. I am the sort who would rather be out doing it than have the telly on watching.

However, that said, having recently moved to a new town and state, I have yet to be able to find out what is on TV much ahead of time. Trying to get ahold of local papers, etc. My cable company doesn't seem to put listings on the interent. (Aldelphia).

So, I missed, and it sounds like I missed two really good races, L'Arc and the Gold Cup.

Hopefully I'll clue in soon enough to catch the Breeder's Cup. (That's the "BC" one everyones talking about, right?)

Later,

Cheryl

See this link. http://www.titantv.com/TTV/MyTitanTv/SignUp/SignUp.aspx (It's a free service. I'm in the television biz when I'm not a railbird.)
You will forever be able to view what's on TV in your area without reliance on cable company or newspaper listings. Since you live on CC, you can get Providence, Hartford and Boston TV stations, I bet.
Hope it works for you.
