Hi levee,
There are 4 pages of farms in the Ocala area. Sort through and find the type you are looking for. It will be easier to adopt a rescue, then to give one away.

The two on the bottom are affiliated with Calder and Gulfstream Park. Very hard to get a horse in as there are so many looking for good a home. Recently I tried to get one in there and it was a long waiting list...so I started hoofing it through dressage training centers talking to owners and trainers. One thing led to another and I found a good home for him....this is where I found the hookup....... http://www.sunshinemeadows441.com/. He's now in Virginia as a hunter jumper. TJ

There is one in Morriston (Levy county) called Beauty's Haven...and another in Micanopy called Horse Protection Association of Florida.
