I was wondering how Keenland goes about placing all those horses in their breeding catalogs. Is there a formula they use? How do they figure what horses to put in book 4 vs 6 or 2 vs 3, etc?
I know some of it is based on pedigree, race record etc but I feel there is a lot of assumptions made. What about the unraced mares that have no progeny going in higher books? Is there a structured formula to their madness or is it the opinion of one person?
