Anyone know what happened to Orb's right nostril?

Hi Jean,
I'm not certain....(but I remember reading somewhere) that they came in one morning and found his nostril torn while in his stall overnight? I believe they said it happened at Payson Park this winter. You would think that article could be googled, but I can't find it anywhere? TJ

It is more common than you would think - we've had it happen on 2 occasions - different stalls, different stall manufacturers, once with a TB colt & the other with a QH mare & an inspection of the stalls didn't show where/how it happened.

Horses, regardless of breed, are masters at finding ways to bust themselves up.

usually you will find a nail or something 10 + ft above the stall floor.
