Double Platinum - 1995 gelding by Strike The Gold, having won over 300,000 now in a feedlot in Pennsylvania. Anyone know any previous owners looking to help bail this horse out? Surely he deserves better?

This thread should be moved to the Horses In Need forum, that is a more appropiate place.

Just found his listing on Another Chance for Horses website and he is listed as pending to the Exceller Fund. Fingers crossed that changes to placed. He is gorgeous and moves nicely on video.

It should be put out there that Another Chance 4 Horses was just raided by the FBI. The Pennsylvania Equestrian ran a large article about it last month, if you google it a number of articles come up. They are being investigated for fraud. I would be very leery of anyone soliciting any kind of money for them. AC4H is trying to claim that it is over health certificates, obviously that is laughable given that the FBI has no interest in livestock health certs, nor would they seize cell phones and computers looking for health certs.

I know they have supposedly been raided and all that.....but I rec'd the post from a trusted friend and I really don't care. Cared a little more about the horse than the politics behind the other stuff.

I felt that it was appropriate to post in here as he did not appear to have much time on his side and not sure how many look in the horses in Need. My apologies for those offended, thought that some in the area, might actually recognize the horse and do the right thing by him.

I did it once before and a previous owner was shocked to see the horse listed. So, again......apologies to those offended, but to me its about the horse. :)

Sounds like this horse has quite a story to tell anyone who will listen. He was pulled up in a race 6 years ago at Mountaineer and he has survived until now, he deserves a medal. I wonder what he has been up to since then?
