I used to live in Hobbs and Lovington. It never seemed cold to me because I was born and raised in Reno, NV and it was a much colder climate.
I did however not miss NOT having scorpions, tarantulas and giaganormous centipedes though!

I hope my poking tuc in the eye did not run 'em off. *bites nails*
I sowwy tuc. come back...please come back! :?

Welcome, Tucumcari. I'd estimate my knowledge has increased about a hundred-fold since I joined this site 1-1-04. And hopefully my chances of profitability as well.

Thanks all!
No I am not from Tucumcari. I saw the name a few years ago and like it. Although at the time I thought it was a slightly dirty name. Later I did ask someone about the name, and it was explained to me that it was the name of a place. And no it wasn't two cum carrie... .
Then last year while I was in KY, Lukas ran a colt that was out of the mare. I seem to think that his name was Desert Patrol... I could be wrong though...

Ok, I cheerfully acknowledge you as demented, Cheyenne -- like all the other horse-crazy types that hang out here!
