We had the unique event of a trainer here in Sydney on Saturday training the first four home in a Group 1 race.
Former New Zealander Chris Waller (now based in Sydney) had five starters in the field of 20 in the $3million Group 1 Doncaster Mile (1600m) at Royal Randwick and four of them ran 1,2,3 & 4. His other runner was 10th.
Waller has already broken the record for most metropolitan wins ever by a trainer last season with 167.5. This had previously been held jointly by the late T.J. Smith and his daughter Gai Waterhouse at 156.

Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of one trainer with the first four happening anywhere before please?
