How did Silvio Amador fare, after spill, @ Sacramento?

It was reported later on HRTV that his mount, Gryphon's Gold (not sure, but it is close to name) got up, with a few cuts and walked off the race course. Presumabally the horse was "OK" based on that observation. It was also reported that Amador had been "helped into the Ambulance"....

I am praying thathe came out of it "OK" as well.

It was a horrific spill to observe, in part b/c there was no obvious cause, like clipping heels, being bumped, etc. Horses were coming down the stretch, his mount had fallen back from leaders or failed to fire and go with them; was seemingly running well, alongside the rail/hedge with no interference with/from the other horses when it happened. Without warning it seemed, the horse reared (nearly verticle) and then jumped - or at least attempted to jump - the rail/hedge; falling on his head/neck as he went 'arse over teakettle' on landing the otherside, Mr. Amador apparently underneath him in the tangle.

I really hope both horse and human are none the worse for this experience.
