Punctuate - the 'other' Baffert trained 2YO in Race 4, and starting from gate 12 in a 6.5 furlong race (at long odds) won today - with Rosie Napravnik up.
It brought back memories of the record that Peppers Pride succeeded in setting and I was glad to see some of that game mare's talent passing on to the next generation!

I saw that race..he looks great, well built, maybe a little confused
meaning he broke fast, then dropped back, looked around a lot---but passed horses easily when it counted.
One to watch for sure.

I was very excited to see him and loved the visual of his win. I'm hoping that we get more good visuals from him in the future.

I'm watching this one, too. His dam was a legend here.
He ran a bullet work today at Santa Anita. (My VS said 1st out of 42 but it's not always right.) Looks like he worked faster than Goldencents for the same day, track and distance.
So excited about this one!
