Marianna Haun, X-Factor Author, Dies

Postby TJ » Mon Feb 15, 2016 3:35 pm

Author, Marianna Haun, passed away February 12th. Known for her series of controversial books on her X-Factor research..."The X-Factor", "Understanding The Power Of The X-Factor" and "Solving the Mystery of Secretariat's Heart". She certainly got many owners and breeders into the conversation, both for and against her research. TJ

As I think about it, while the genetics basis of her approach was off, her focus on the heart - which really wasn't something that people placed that much emphasis on (despite Secretariat), did make for a lot more interest in that part of physiology, which is vitally important. People are now putting a lot more emphasis on measuring heart capacities and capabilities these days.
