I think after a few miles in the rear view mirror, those who look will realize that his contributions far exceeded those of so many of the bluebloods of the sport. His partnerships opened up a whole new vista to realistic participation (and success) in the racing game, starting the movement that brought in so many new owners, effectively breathing life into a declining sport. His enthisasm carried the day - a trait so common to the winners of the game. My opinion.

Absolutely. The whole concept of Dogwood Stable opened up racing to a new type of owner.
