They're going to try to get in the big ones this weekend. But with one fatality already, if something goes south the noise to close will be deafening. The good news is that it's forcing the forces in racing to work together - but capitulation to the animal rights people is losing proposition for the whole industry.

I know, what is going on?? I've been trying to follow the TVG videos online. The ones I've watched have been about rule changes. Is the track footing bad? I'm sad for the horses who have been lost and hope this is resolved quickly...
