Surprised nobody has mentioned Selene. Dam of three influential sires in Hyperion, Pharamond & Sickle. Plus Hunters Moon was a classic sire in South America. Plus all four were Stakes horses as runners.

Not sure I would say she was a great but Alidiva had 3 separate group one winners in the same year over here in Europe. In 1997 Taipan won the Europa Preis in Germany, Ali-Royal won the Sussex Stakes and Sleepytime won the 1000 Guineas which I would think is a pretty impressive achievement.
