Is anyone familiar with gelding named Mach Ten?

He is at or near Fairmount.

He last ran on 6/24/05 in the 5th at FMT. He did not fair too well, running 9th by 35 lengths in a $4,000 claiming race.

What could cause a horse to do that poorly?

Could you please tell me if he did that bad in any of his other races?

I subscribed to equineline and can see where he raced 8 times as a three year old and four as a four year old with 2 wins and a second, but cannot understand anything else. I just ordered the simple product # 12B because the others were confusing.

I am looking at him for a sporthorse and don't need him to be exceptionally fast, but cannot use a roarer or a lame horse.
