No. He's not even grey (neither parent is grey so there is no way he can be). The top pick is a bad camera flash. Just your average, run of the mill chestnut.

At $650,00, let's hope there's something more than "run of the mill" ! :)

Those pics don't show all of him, so pretty hard to say. IF he has some white hair mixed in anywhere on his body (flanks, sides, neck...) then ya he is a bit roany, but as none of those shots show much...your call

No, Sam was right, he was simply a chestnut. I saw him several times and if there was any roaning, I didn't notice it.

I would like to double check this case for three reasons: First the Thoroughbred Times described him as "flashy". Second, every photo I have seen from different photographers present him with these kind of shinny highlights, and, Third, the whole body photo available here coincedes in presenting some miniscule white areas around the top of his back (area near the adjacent car).

I am not in favor of wishful thinking here, but I would really like to double check this case with photos and of course, testimonies. I sincerely appreciate the aforementioned visual testimony, but want to be very sure before dismissing it completely.

Blessings,
