This problem Still has not been fixed !!!!!

1986 --- 1980

Sorry, AMANDAS WISH has more than three offspring listed in our database. To prevent tampering with information that's already included in the database, we won't allow you to edit this horse's record. If you feel there's a mistake in the pedigree, please contact the database research group and we'll check the pedigree/information for you.

It's not a "problem", it's suppose to be a way to keep people from tampering with the system.

You need to make a list of all the horses you find like that (I'm assuming Amanda's Wish is in the system without a birth year?) and email it to Miles ... then hope he actually corrects it (I've not been able to get him to correct Le Ciel for almost a year now).

It's not something I *like* doing because for me to do it takes almost 2 days .. I have to delete all the foals, wait for a system reset and then correct the mare and add the foals back in. Major pain in my ass.

Excuse me Sam but is it your job to fix the database ? I mean is this what you do for a living or is this a hobby ? I just do not get your obsession with the database :(

What the hell was that all about ? All I did was ask a question, if you didn't want to answer it don't. But don't go off on me like I am someone you think I am. Give it a rest already.
So why do you think it is your job to mess with the database all the time?

BTW, Sam, thanks for all your volunteer work on the database! At least someone's trying to keep the dust rhinos from accumulating.

Yes, it is much appreciated. (You do come out of your computer room once in a while and get some sun, don't you, Sam? )
