Looking For A Stallion

Postby EO » Mon Sep 12, 2005 7:23 am

As all of you know, Basket Weave is getting on in years. At this time, he looks like he is 12 years old instead of 24. If all goes well, he will have another successful year getting mares in foal at age 25. However, you never know. For that reason, we are looking for another stallion to have as a back up for him. With all the sales that will be coming up this fall and winter, I would really appreciate a heads up on any nice stallions that might be offered. If anyone sees any, please contact me at [email protected]. Who knows, we might be able to give another older stallion a new lease on life. He would be able to enjoy the dry weather of Eastern Washington and people who would dote on him. Kathie

I don't know anything about this stallion but I did see a son of Raise a Native on dreamhorse recently- I think he was in his 20s- and the name was Snake Oil Man. Listed under TBs for sale in WA.

There is a decent Storm Bird stallion in the Charlestown sale on the 20th.
