Merry Christmas EVERYONE!

Postby madelyn » Fri Dec 23, 2005 11:06 am

Hope you all have a great holiday season.

The horses all want carrots for Christmas, except for the OTTB's -- Peppermints please. I'm going to check out whether or not they like candy canes.

For the last 5 years I have been sending 40 pounds of Starlites to Bay Meadows as a Christmas treat . . . . . . . . .

They put them in a big bowl and the trainers can take what they want, if they want. . . . . .

Merry Christmas to all who are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ -- may you be richly and deeply blessed in the coming year. And for those who do not celebrate Christmas for whatever reason, may you enjoy a happy holiday season in the company of those you love best.

Merry Christmas to you and yours Madelyn! I guess I trained my herd right...they ALL want carrots. No candy or cookies for these TB. Even the Mama who never saw a carrot in her life until I got her last year, now prefers carrots to the cookies she was raised on. Peppermints cause raised, quivering lips and strange looks around my herd!

Bet the peppermints, in the Kentucky cold, tickle their tummies

Merry Christmas to all and may you find the peace and love of Jesus in this holiday season, keep a song in your heart, and may your days be merry and bright.
