Hearing the horsie sound effects while they're discussing the foal and showing shots of it is soooo cute. So the foal's small eh? Interested to see if that's a trend but Danzig wasn't the world's biggest was he so the filly's being out of a Danzig mare might have something to do with it right? I would guess that since Shoppingwithbetty's the 3rd mare bred to Smarty and the first to foal that any day now we'll get another few coming our way. So cute! If they try to name her Shoppingwithsmarty though I will gag.

PS. Okay correction, on an article from the Lexington Herald-Leader, "With a star, stripe and snip on her face, she is “medium-sized and a little upright.”"

A friend of mine bred to Smarty Jones. I suggested SMARTY PANTS for the foal. then looked it up to see that another horse has it not sure if it comes off this year or not, the horse is 11.

Smarty Jones is a great name to play off of...I like Smart Shopper too cute

Okay-Nice to know that Smarty's First foal is well ect.
However the article in the Lexington Herald-needs CPR-they need to fire that writer-or at least make them take English 101

A quote from the article says it is a filly..."This filly¹s daddy is not mere horse royalty, he is Smarty Jones, the 2004 Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner, also known as the People¹s Horse.
And this is the first foal the charismatic chestnut sweetheart has ever begat."
