Nothing shows up (in North America) under her name, as having produced anything after Vespasian (2000). That could either mean she was exported to another country or she died, or never had another registered foal.

Anyone have the Eurpopean APR to check this dam's produce record (in Europe)???
Her name is Indian Wardance.

I'm assuming you've looked up Emperor Jones in the database here and seen these notes -

Breeder: Cherry Valley Farm, Inc. & E. A. Cox Jr.
State Bred: KY
Winnings: 22 Starts: 4 - 4 - 4, $352,279

Won: Craven S.-G3 (ENG), Juddmonte Lockinge S.-G2 (ENG) 2nd: Pr Daphnis-G3 (FR), Kiveton Park S.-G3 (ENG), Queen Anne S.-G2 (ENG), Tripleprint Celebration Mile-G2 (ENG) 3rd: Prince Of Wales's S.-G2 (ENG), Tripleprint Celebration Mile-G2 (ENG), Sea World Interna

Sent to France. Sent to Argentina in 2003

Sounds like your best bet may be to contact someone in Kentucky....

Yes,
He was sent to United Arab Emirates after argentina and then to France where he is now. I have tried calling that stable with no luck :(

but perhaps someone in Kentucky would be able to track which of his offspring have been imported or bred here..

Okay. Some simple language barriers (breeding v real world). "out of" means "from the mare". 1/2 brother or 1/2 sibling in TB breeding (possibly all horse breeding...but don't really know) means two siblings "out of" the same mare or "dam".

So, to verify...you are looking for geldings BY the sire Emporer Jones. If such is the case, these geldings would not be a 1/2 brother to your gelding. Kind of like learning a second language, huh? :?

Anyway, Emporer Jones was sent to France and then to Argentina. So I think it would be difficult to find his gelded sons here in USA. You might try calling Equineline.com (a subsidiary of The Jockey Club) and ask if there is a way to find out if any of Emporer Jones progeny were born in USA (or wherever you are located). It might be a starting point for you.

Yes, thanks I am pulling reports on Equineline right now- yes I know all of the language- just don't speak it to often  yes so geldings BY Emperor Jones- thanks for your info, I will try calling them :D

DARE I SUGGEST, it is possible that your horse got at least half of his talent from his dam. You might also look for Indian Ridge and Herbager descendants, as they are both sporthorse lines as well as race/steeplechase. Grey Dawn is another stallion prominent in the pedigrees of some very good jumping stock, as is Big Spruce.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....

LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE TWO CONVERSATIONS GOING ON AT THE SAME TIME ABOUT THIS HORSE. :?

I try not to listen to the voices in my head.
But sometimes they have such good ideas

Hi Rachel,

Maybe if yuou are still interested:
I found this progency of Indian Wardance:
2001 Rossa Scarlatta filly by Opening Verse (name suggest she's in Italy)
2002 Livvies Lady filly by Opening Verse
2003 Opal Warrior filly by Orpen HAS WON

Margreet,
Thanks I think that this could help. Hopefully I can find some in the USA and find a way to contact the trainer. Then should they decide to retire them I will have to option to purchase them... What is your best suggestion for that, I have no trainer directory or anything.

I plan on using them for hunter jumper or maybe eventing. I like to use horses that have raced since they need a home..

Thanks :D
