Did the slaughter houses operate today? This was they day they were to be start paying for their own vet inspections, but there was the law suite against them filed by the HSUS and others.

I hope they do close down....One less slaughter house is always a good thing!!

As far as I know unless the court rules against the fee for service thing it is killing as usual. And the city conveniently gave them enough time to go build another plant somewhere else.
