Laissez les bon temps rouller!
nferro, I am a little concerned that someone reading this board could so easily respond with such an intellectual answer. What are you doing lurking on this board?
You are absolutely correct. I think he was emperor around 150 AD, after Hadrian (Hadrian wall and the progenerator of several other Roman historical works).
And, actually I am somewhat concerned that I can remember any of my Roman history.

Hallo,
I read several times in horsemags and books about thoroughbreds in Germany, there was once a horse named IWNWSEB. I always though, it's a bit of racing folklore.
But I have to admit, when I had some time ago the possibility to lend a few German Studbooks form the early 2Oth century, there was really a horse officially accepted and registered of this name. and was regarded good enough to stand as stallion. His name was derived from:
Ich
was
nicht
was
soll
es
bedeuten
translated into English: I don't know what does it mean. Indeed!
Btw, the first line of a German Folksong. But the punters did know, how to cope with such a name, pretty soon the christianed it the "Lorelei Horse", that's the song titel.
At the moment here in my homecountry are racing 2 horses, one of the is named "Fat Snail" and the other "Error".
And there is an Irishbred sprinter running by the name of "Osterhase" (by Flying Spur). It's actually a German word, translated into English= Easter Bunny!
Best regards, Bettina
