I'm in love with this horse's breeding. Problem is, not much experience and not much on dirt. Played him in the Derby. IF he ran to his breeding, it would be all over, just like the other Tiznow did last year.
There's a video on YouTube of Tiznow, just playing around int he barn, and Mr. Hot STuff has some many of the same mannerisms.....and same kind of mischievous personality.

Surely not....in fact....rather ironically..to win all these 3 races you mentioned are much tougher than to score the official triple tiara
designed for 3yo fillies only...on the other hand any of the triple crown races is crowded with strong 3 yo male contenders. There was
only a few success story of fillies in these races.
RA's win in The Preakness has already raised so many eyebrows.....The Belmont Stakes will push this durability test even further...The
toughness of this title is not just competitiveness. All 3 legs are run almost within a month starting early May, with Derby the 1st leg
(not the case in some other racing nations).
Without winning Derby, best this girl can achieve is the so called mixed triple crown..which is of course off balance sheet..let alone
the fat bonus.

The Belmont? Like in any year where the TC has been eliminated from the discussion, it is a curious oddity like a 6th toe. The race doesn't have that much impact on anything anymore, other than the TC. For any outsiders drawn to the dramas of the KD and the Preakness, if they are still paying attention at all, they are getting a feel for the meaninglessness of the old appendage.

Odd it maybe..only a few hopefuls can get through it anyway..so its name is better known because of its length..that much I think is right.
Ces TC things la are revered everyway..in UK, in Canada, in Latino areas, more so in Japan...why does it become an "appendage" ? That
only means one thing...it stands tall..Wilf said it right..you need something beyond being right..something freaky.
You are challenging NYRA wisdom..to give away 5 million dollars for any horse with the 6th toe.

I disagree. For me, not having a TC winner is usually a disappointment, but not this year with the fabulous Preakness race. Always, the Belmont is still a champ's race at the rare 1.5 miles, and at the relatively short rest period between races, and another chance to see some TC contenders face off against each other.
In fact my sister, a brand-new race fan, is changing all of her apartment selling/moving plans to be around to see the Belmont on TV, regardless of whether or not RA runs.
All shouting does is make you lose your voice.

The Belmont has boiled down to whether MTB is stout enough to handle a third tough race. But so what, it will never put him in the pantheon of greats. Essentially, it's a question that doesn't need asking.
Maybe the ownership needs the purse, or figures that they must strike while the iron is hot. Personally, I'd give MTB the benefit of the doubt and groom him for better things, and even be thinking about 2-3 more peak years. They are risking the future by sending out a somewhat vulnerable horse on Saturday and for what? The ability to say that, with racing luck, he would have been the 12th TC winner?
Jess Jackson stepped in to squat on that option.

Let me put this a different way. What if Jackson had waited, given RA five weeks instead of two, and sent her at MTB (with 2 legs under his belt). Imagine the buzz this week instead of 3 weeks ago? Multiple story lines. The Belmont would be the hottest ticket going, and Rachel Alexandra wouldn't be on the shelf.
Instead, there is a hohum affair with the general public tuning out. Did the Preakness require her presence to attract attention?? The Preakness always generates interest if the KD winner enters the gate.
What a waste.
