There will be a lot of chatter about how G.O.D has fallen off and I think it's unwarranted. I've said this for about 2 years now, he's a stone cold, I have to have the lead front runner. Chantel had figured that out. Bob and Mike and everyone else had convinced themselves they had this push button super horse and they don't and they keep running him like they can sit off a pace / lead and he can't and they keep losing winnable races because of it.
IF G.O.D gets the lead his chest gets big and you more than likely aren't going to beat him. If G.O.D doesn't test the lead, in particular against horses with real talent, he gets pissy and doesn't want to run.
It will be interesting to see what the word is coming out of the Baffert camp the next few days about the San Antonio and what they plan to do next.
On another note, why would you bridge jump on a horse who is either going to win or run up the track, no in between. The first (at leat my first) rul of bridge jumping is that you never wager bridge jump on a one pace horse.

Makes one remember Najran, who after a one-mile world record performance was defeated by horses of a lesser caliber who clicked
inferior time performances. No doubt that Game on Dude is an extremely brilliant horse when the race is unfolding under his own front-running terms but otherwise he behaves like some sort of average, albeit, good horse.
Its like some sort of mystery.
