Honor Code and Top Billing are out (just thought I'd throw them on here).
And Bond Holder.

Yeah, Walden said something about him being the most exciting sophomore stud prospect this year. Kind of sounds like he's setting up an advertisement campaign.

I can't stand their "business" model (if you want to call it that).

Pretty soon there will be as many sons of Tapit out there as Bernardinis and they will be equally indistinguishable.

He'll probably surpass Bernardini, since he appears to be even more popular.
Currently there are 9 stallions by Tapit on the Blood-Horse Registry, 11 by Bernardini, and 10 by Medaglia D'Oro.

Looks like Cairo Prince is out:

Hi Cree,
These trainers are getting like politicians...always telling 1/2 truths. There had to be a reason he kept him away so long going into the Florida Derby. That brings Vinceremos in. Wildcat Red hasn't worked in 3 weeks, he could be next out? TJ

That was my thought too. He trained like they were fighting something.

It's the free market. This business is so risky that mare owners try to maximize their chances for some success and stallion owners try to find a horse that sells himself. That is a lot easier with an established pedigree- although it is never easy.

Poor Bond Holder has lost his battle to laminitis.
I agree with TJ about Cairo Prince, they were training him like he was fragile.

its always a gamble, but in a few years, how many dice will be available to roll?
