Alas jock ignored instructions got too far back and the speed held. Still, only beat 6-1/4 lengths 3rd lifetime start missed black type by a length or so.. she did not like the dirt this time and it was kind of pivotal. She moves like a grass horse. Maybe wait for turf at Keeneland.

Madelyn's filly made a solid run against some odds - and I look forward to her next effort. Keep it up Madelyn~

Be great to see her a winner at Keeneland!

We are getting new shoes, literally - a new shoe specifically for polytrack.. looking maybe at Debutante at Presque Isle. This shoe is supposed to help horses slide a bit on poly rather than stick, which will reduce concussion. We'll see

Well, you took your shot. But as you noted on the August race, she can close, but not from that far back. Few can. I thought the time was quick. Distance?

I think we want a mile. Will regroup and prepare for Turfway, which we can get more ready for because we can ship in to breeze. The track at PI was impossibly deep and bore no resemblance at all to Tapeta.
