Broke her maiden today at Laurel - 6th Race, Maiden Special Weight, by one length.

I saw the race but can someone clue me in on the yoko reference? I guess this was before my time lol

Who was mostly blamed (mostly wrongly) for the break up of the Beatles. Hence the comments with Beatles song titles in the previous posts. Good going guys takes skill to work those titles into comments.

The thread should really be in the "Stable Watch" category but I started it in the "Racing" category because of the coincidence of her first win (but later disqualification) falling on the anniversary of John Lennon's death which I was not aware of until the track announcer said it as she crossed the finish line.

As far as the name... we also have a dog named "George Harrison" but my teenaged daughter has "moved on" since she named our new cat "Jonas" after the Jonas Brothers....
