Baffert not absolutely certain, but is leaning toward not running either Govenor Charlie or Code West....leaving him without a Derby starter. TJ

It's official, Govenor Charlie and Code West are out of the Derby. TJ

Tiz a Minister and Winning Cause both made the body of the field after defections are officially out....the full Derby field currently at 19. TJ

The other day, almost by chance, I came across a curious TV program featuring an experiment where they elevated a car a few feet from the air only using "duct" tape merely adhered to the panels of the doors up to the crane to see how much time the car stayed in the air. One tape broke and a few seconds another followed and so on and then, all of a sudden practically all the tapes broke at once and the car fell to the ground. Something similar seems to be happening now with the Derby. Is this the sign of an incredible result in the winners circle? Well who knows! :shock:
