1. fort larned isn't that good and last year's BC was a fluke. i thought it was then.
2. wow successful dan. he should have won if he didn't come in in the stretch he wins
3. i guarantee you that a jocky change is coming on Fort Laurned. and i don't even think that it's unwarranted. should have gone straight to the lead, he won the classic under harder fractions than they ran today much harder.

Great pick, Toccet. Fort Larned might have had a bad day, but the others looked good. Cross Traffic won fair and square. He seems like a very nice horse.
Successful Dan gave us a good run. At the Classic distance of 1 and 1/4 miles, we might see a reversal of the exacta.

Hi bdw,
That was a legitimate pace in the Whitney Handicap in which Cross Traffic posted a 108 beyer. The fractions you posted are incorrect. Actual fractions were 24.1, 47.2, 1:10.1, 1:34.1 and the 1 1/8th in 1:47.4. TJ
thanks guys....I really didn't overthink it. My latest method of betting, which seems to be working, is just to skim the program and go with my gut, paying much more attention to breeders and jockey and owners. After all, WHERE the horse is placed makes a huge difference.
