Turkish Prize
Does anyone know what happened to this horse? Last summer my friend met his owners at the fair and they said she could have him when they retired him but he's dropped off the radar.
Howard Siegel owned Turkish Prize last that I remember, he's the nicest fellow imagineable...
Why don't you pay for his PPs, and if it doesn't show him as claimed from Siegel, I can look into it...
that said, Turkish Prize is a neat old guy, and I bet a lot of people would like to have him as a retirement pet. Hope he didn't get promised to more than one person! What a hard knocker he is.
I couldn't help but love him.

If you can find out anything about him that would be awesome.
He was here in NCal last summer at this time to run at the Sonoma Fair. My friend came up from SCal to watch Lost in the Fog exercise at the fair that day and to find out about getting Turkey.
My friend has many of the older racers....she gets them out of racing and retires them. She called me all excited and had met the owners and they were thrilled to let her have him when he was done as he deserved a wonderful home.
Some rumor went around a while back that he was rescured and placed by a rescue up here and is up in the foothills somewhere but my friend said that doesn't make sense as his owners truly doted on him.
