Hi

Have any of you seen Borrego in person? If so, can you give me any insight on his conformation and temperament?

I've seen him Bill and he was nice looking, a bit rangy. I always thought he was a nice horse and got a case of seconditis, but he had one big run towards the end. He's got a lot to like in his pedigree, not overly inbred, the dam was a bit to Raise a Native, but a foal would be down to a 5x5 on the dam side. I definitely think he has a chance. The book will determine if he's marketable. He had some guts, and if he passes that on he'll have alot of winners, maybe not Graded, but money makers. Concentrate on his breeding on the top.
