Tampa Bay Derby Beyers in

Looks like Street Sense and Any Given Saturday each pulled in 101. Lower than I expected. Do y'all think it's about right or are you surprised at all?

I thought it might be a tiny bit higher, maybe 105. Great race just the same.

Maybe Andy will adjust it later ;) Fortunately Rick Violette isn't training either horse so I don't think their preparation will be affected.

Sad but true.. I'm sick of these adjustments. This is no different than the software I use going..oops after a race. If they aren't accurate after they are published..Then don't publish them at all.

To be honest Heidi the Beyer figures were the furthest thing from my mind after the T B Derby. Finally we get to see a humdinger! A real horse race down to the wire reminiscent of the Sunday Silence Easy Goer Preakness. Two very nice horses , well prepared and very willing, certainly a refreshing change after years of phoney landslide wins by horses that were never seen again , check last years lead-up circus and 2005 for that matter!
