I know that Sinister G is in training at Belmont.

He's trained by a guy named John Toscano that (literally) couldn't train an elephant to eat peanuts. He trains 3 or 4 horses and also manages an OTB restaurant in Queens.

This horse once won the Lane's End in KY and Toscano was offered a lot of $$$ for the horse. The horse then finished 10th in the Wood Memorial, 8th in the Peter Pan, and has run on and off the last 2 years in money condition allowance races.

John's son, Paul, was a bug rider at Belmont and never made it in NY - he went down to Calder and has done fairly well

Rockeby, just curious, where do you get your info on who can or can't train? I believe you mentioned a few weeks ago that Ron Ellis couldn't train-he's on the west coast and Toscano's on the east coast. Are you in the business? A jock agent for a coast to coast rider? Or is this just your opinion based upon?

A loaded gun is dangerous in anybody's hands, Ron Ellis Tb are firing blanks at this time. Give him some talented Tb with ability and he will make those non-believers eat crow double time. LOL.

Louis, what convinces you of that? Horses like Atswhatimtalknbout?

The only thing Ron Ellis could do with a loaded gun is shoot himself in the foot with it. LOL!

Good horses make a trainer look good, bad horses make a trainer look bad. Ron has a barn full of mediocre Tb at this time , but the pendulumn will swing back in due time. Patience is the greatest asset of a trainer.

Louis, Ron Ellis always has talent to work with. He's got mediocre horses right now because that's all he's getting out of his stock.
