Storm In May was second in the Arkansas Derby to Curlin.

Which other horses are you wondering about, Sam?

Cobalt Blue, at the moment. I know I've seen him, but couldn't have been that impressed as I can't recall where I saw him.

Honestly, I think we saw the Derby winner in the Blue Grass yesterday. I was more impressed by Street Sense losing yesterday than I was with him winning a few weeks ago.

Really not all that impressed with anything in the Ark Derby (didn't see the race until just now as I don't have HRTV and couldn't get the feed to run on my computer).

Can't really recall Going Ballistic either.

If you have to use a joke more than once, it's no longer funny. Actually, it wasn't funny the first time you used it.

Sedgefield's another son of Smart Strike and a full brother to English Channel which I swear I must've known but it never got past my short term memory bank. SS isn't doing so bad right now is he? I would guess at some point ol' Sedgefield's gonna have his 4 hooves hit the turf what with his breeding. Nevermind his big bro, being out of a Theatrical mare is something too.

Do we know how Liquidity and Sam P. are doing?

Supposedly Liquidity is going to be trained up to the derby. 6 weeks rest, I think? Can't remember when he ran last.

I've no clue what's going on with Sam P.

I haven't looked over Sam P.'s stats in awhile. Does he have enough speed to do the job? Clearly his pedigree will let him run all day and then some, wow, but what about running whilst in first place?

Evan Hammonds ideal Derby starting gate via Bloodhorse has a couple horses, Reporting for Duty and Albertus Maximus, that I didn't know about in terms of graded earnings. I mean RoD was 2nd in the Illinois Derby which is G3 right? So what about his $$. Could they even make the field? And interesting that Albert the Great's got another promising 3yo.

Who's joking about Olympic Chief, Sam? I'm simply recognizing the accomplishments of the downtrodden. From your prior writings, that's something you should be proud of. Doesn't a scale based on $$$ go against everything you believe in? And you're the one keeping tabs...now, that's funny!

Cobalt Blue is doubtful after finishing well down the field in the Illinois Derby. He's a nice horse, but the problem is that when he's prominent in a race, we run the risk of being subjected to a song from his owner, Merv Griffin. You haven't suffered till you've heard Griffin sing "My Old Kentucky Home".

Sam, there's something not quite right with this list. Xchanger won the Tesio and is up there in the earnings list, and there is a possibility he might go in the Derby.
