To send some good vibes his way, the story of his 2nd dam, Cherokee Frolic, is one of my favorites.

Charles Friedfertig claimed Cherokee Frolic in 1980 for $25,000 in her second start, topping 11 others in a shake. Cherokee Frolic went on to win 10 stakes, including the 1982 Test, earning over $350,000 and become the family's foundation mare.

There are a slew of stakes winners that hail from her. Good mare and a good source of durability, even with this scarring on the record. But He did dance every dance. Hopefully he's still with us.
Don't be so humble - you are not that great.

The Asmussen school of Survival Of The Fittest - even Dickinson's chopped up Nike Sneakers can't overcome it.

Suspensory damage, according to the Blood Horse. Didn't say anything else.

Oh no, I had high hopes for Super Frolic as a stallion. I hope he makes it. I'm getting really fed up with these shitty trainers ruining good horses.

Yep....very good family, Maven.

How would you like to be the guy that lost Courtly Dee in a shake? OUCH!

Or the guy that lost the horse Boston in a game of cards when he was a 2YO?

I was there...I overheard a radio conversation with the vet that "it was real bad...he has bone sticking out."

I didn't hear anything else and they did take him off in the ambulance. At one point after the jock jumped off he did go down before the outrider got there.

Just made me sick. So much for the safe footing.

That's irresponsible parenting. Why were they letting him play cards when he was only two?

Ya, it didn't look like solely suspensory damage... with that can come a garbled mess... a shame.
