I thought that the NYRA and Spitzer were corruption pals. Not so? Wasn't there a $650,000 pay out to Spitzer from the NYRA?

Been following this all day on FoxNews...here is a man who tore people apart, ripped reputations to shreds on no evidence and he gets busted on a federal wire tap for prostitution.

The chickens coming home to roost...I love it...He is dirty just like the people he went after. Now this opens up a pandora box of issues. Someone knew he was involved with this. Did they use this info on him to gain influence on issues that crossed the govenor's table?

Allegedly, a federal wire tap caught Spitzer as client #9 in DC ordering a prostitute.
Spitzer got caught in the tap with loosened wiretap laws.

If Spitzer wasn't the AG who relentlessly pursued people, companies etc., who HE deemed amoral this would not be as bad as it is..

Spitzer here is the "crusader rabbit"
against immorality(prostitution) for OTHER people.

And he apparently asked the madam if the girl would agree to not wearing a condom! Stupid on more than one count. I hope his wife runs, not walks, to the doctor.

And, ironically enough, if Spitzer resigns, Lt. Gov. David Paterson is likely to become the new Governor leaving Spitzer's adversary, Joe Bruno, to assume the Lt. Gov.'s position. It's a sad day for US politics in general, as this just seems to substantiate the feeling that most US politicians are corrupt.

He should have been "PROSECUTING" instead of "PROSTITUTING"

So, it turns out that Spitzer and New York Racing both have something in common.

They both got f***ed.

If it's true this may rival the Jimmy Swaggert scandal for hypocrisy.

The Swaggert deal was a long time ago. What did they get him for again?

Wonder how long it will be before someone names a horse "Client Number Nine"
