I love how everyone thinks he will win easy in the Derby. The longest race he won was a 1 1/16. His try yesterday at 1 1/8 told me nothing. He is an enigma to me now. It's hard for me to be to confident in him at this point. When I re rank my Dery 12 I had no choice but to drop him some.

I'm still trying to figure out the initial post in this thread.

I'd still consider Pyro for the Derby, but I'm doing what Sam said (did I just say that?) and waiting till after the Lexington and until I see who gets in.

I don't get it either... throw in some hieroglyphics and it might be a cinch!

After the TC is over, the Tb with the will to win, will surface. I never pick a fashion bred to dance every dance of the TC, as they use up their reserves in the Derby, where those Non-fashion breds have a surplus of reserves left in their tank.

Curlin has a Non-fashion bred pedigree, & is a good example of above.

When I looked at Pyro in the post parade, he looked drawn and lackluster (as if overworked) and did not look as if he would not hit the board. He ran as he looked so I would not write him off yet.

Louis, with that in mind, I'll pick Col John, Gayego and Bob Black Jack to run 1-2-3.

And I don't know what Giovanni meant to say, but he sure said it enthusiastically. :?

seems like either spanish or italian the OP is typing in somewhat... definatly spanish now that I look at it. give the guy a break. he took the time to sign up here and give us his opinions about pyro. which I don't agree with, but hey.
