Well that depends on your stance, well no not really. They did do a very good job. I wish I had caught the trainers name they interviewed. They really focused hard on breeding as being the culprit. Horses that run faster than their legs can handle. I was also shocked that they essentially called out Unbridled and Unbridled's Song as 2 sires that should not have been bred as they had problems themselves..... that about fell everyone in my house over.

As soon as the link becomes available I'll post it and people can make their own decision.

Currently they have some vids and stories on the ABC website but so far that piece hasn't hit.

Midwest, nice to see you again, you have FIVE?!

Still, knowing how much you care for the horses, Midwest, I believe if anyone can keep them sound, it's you.

i don't own any horses but have a beautiful dog. She has a hot spot (anyone know any good cures? :) ) when i'm ready to give her a gel she sits right sown until i'm done. Why? she trusts me to do right by her. We love each other and you can tell by how they look at you. I can't imagine anyone be it a trainer or owner who could intentionally put something harmful into a animal or do something unsafe. I realize its a million dollar business and i'm not nieve, but things have to be cleaned up. The news people will always sensationalize but if it brings attention to wrong doings, i'm all for it.

Nice to see ABC calling out Unbridled's Song as I have been on other threads. I hope his sales numbers tank and the top mares stop going to him.

lol Oliver I thought of you and Rokeby immediately. Taylormade may not like it, but apparently you all aren't the only ones to make that connection.

Dammit they still have not posted that segment. I am very interested to see all the take on it.

Everywhere I turned today, the issue of horse racing and breakdowns was there. Every poll, commentary, story, there it was.

Tough, sad days for the sport.

Enough talking about it...let's do something!

I don't think the 'guy here' works for Taylor Made any more. That was brogers and I believe he has moved (possibly to Australia?).
